When we met Meghan awhile back we knew right away she was a perfect fit for Renaissance Studios Photography – her attention to detail is impeccable, her eye for those little moments you normally overlook, and her gift for capturing it all with her camera with that little twist of quirkiness that we love around here. Her experience speaks for itself, having covered about 30 weddings a season for the last few years – she’s a pro, and we’re thrilled that she’s joined our team! Add to all of that: she’s sweet, fun, sincere, and down-to-earth!
In her own words: “I have always known that I was destined to be in the arts, but didn’t find my niche of photography until high school, and as soon as I found it I fell deeply in love. After graduating from the Photography program at Sheridan College, I started shooting fashion because I love beauty and the adrenaline rush from getting the right shot. I’m sure I started shooting weddings for that same reason, but once I started I just couldn’t stop, I loved it.
Some of my inspirations include traveling, fashion, architecture, graphics, movies, music, dancing, and everyday human interactions. I also really love the outdoors (unless it’s winter, then I am hibernating)!
Throughout each wedding, I strive to capture the unique memories of each couple’s special day. I would say that my style is a candid approach coupled with an ability to give some direction if needed. On top of this, I am a sucker for details!”
