Gina and Matt’s Sweet Valentine Wedding

OMG this wedding was so wonderful…Kelvin and I shot this on Sunday – from the blushing pink flowers to the classy finishing touches, to their lollipop cake (LOVE IT!) to the venue – it was all perfect. Here are a few teasers as a sneak peek…or with their candy theme I should call it a ‘little taste’ of what’s to come. Gina and Matt have had a love-struck long-distance relationship from the beginning, with Matt living overseas, and Gina being here in Canada. This wedding will change all of that…and Matt’s going to be married AND Canadian, eh! So this wedding was such a celebration of many things, we’re thrilled to have had the chance to be part of it.

I shot their e-session last spring, and I knew that their wedding would be one to remember, full of sweetness:)….you’ll see the famous WONKY PANDA who was the official wedding “bear”er for their wedding… he holds a special place in that relationship so we couldn’t forget to photograph him LOL. I decided that with it being Valentines Day – I’d check to see if I could find some candy hearts for the rings to tie it all together – there was definitely love in the air you could feel it!

Thanks to Gina and Matt for sharing their day with us – more of their wedding to come soon!

Aw thanks mum (without the in-law part)
And agnieszka, I know what you mean now! We see couples saying goodbyes at the airport and we somehow feel more for them than we do ourselves, because we know how hard it can be. Now that we are at this place in our very long-distance relationship, it’s a happier kind of sad. I am just so thrilled that we could have Renaissance Studios capture this in their photography. The best compliment I’ve gotten on our sneak preview pics and the engagement pics, was how well Clint was able to capture how we feel about each other in a photograph. They say he just brought out all the love from the day into a single moment. We’re lucky to have stumbled across him.

Much love you guys!
